Shaun’s practice is centered on high-stakes litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants, with a focus on assisting businesses and individuals injured by the misconduct of others. Shaun also prosecutes and defends business and employment disputes in state and federal courts. Prior to joining Rogers Lewis in 2014, Shaun was a partner at Adams and Reese LLP.

Shaun has maintained an AV® Preeminent Rating™ with Martindale-Hubbell® since 2013, and he been recognized in South Carolina SuperLawyers® every year since 2014 for his litigation and courtroom practice. He has also been recognized several times as being among the "Legal Elite" by the readers of Columbia Business Monthly for his work in the area of business litigation. Among the people Shaun admires most is his first legal mentor, James A. Stuckey, Jr., who showed him the dedication, professionalism, and sense of humor that is required to be a successful litigator. Shaun currently volunteers his services as General Counsel for Downtown Church, a newly-chartered PC-USA congregation in Columbia. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time hiking, camping, and traveling with his wife and two children.
